Casa Paço D’Ilhas & Alma do Paço
Casa Paço D’Ilhas & Alma do Paço are sister venues located in a small rural village just outside Ericeira, with a rich cultural heritage dating all the way back to the 13th century.
Casa Paço D’Ilhas is located on a beautiful hilltop overlooking the surfbreaks of the Ericeira one side and the lush countryside of Santo Isodoro Municipality on the other side.
The venue is located just outside Ericeira, a traditional Portuguese fishing village, approximately 40 minutes from Lisbon airport. Also close by you’ll find the Unesco heritage town Sintra and the lush nature of the Sintra-Cascais natural park.
Many guests will turn the wedding weekend into a longer holiday which we would highly recommend!

Accomodation
All accommodation on site is now booked! For those that have requested, we will be in touch ASAP to let you know if there's a spot for you and which room.
Ericeira has plenty of incredible options in the town, around a 10 minute drive away from the venue. There are many airbnb’s and hotels to choose from ranging from surf hostels, to boujee hotels.
The town is relatively small so most areas will be a good choice.

Transport
Airport
Lisbon is the closest airport to the venue and approximately 40 minutes drive to Ericeira.
Alternatively, Faro airport is a 3 hour drive but often has cheaper flights depending on where you’re flying from
Rental Cars
This is the most convenient way to move around during the weekend and stay flexible throughout the trip. Portugal is known for its budget deals on rental cars and there is always the option of teaming up on rentals to bring costs down. www.rentalcars.com
There is plenty of onsite parking at the venue for both the Friday and Saturday for anyone driving.
Taxi’s
If you don’t fancy renting a car then you can easily get a taxi to and from Lisbon to the venue/Ericeira. Ubers are around €30-€50 one way depending on time of day.
There are also plenty of private taxi firms to book through at the airport.
We will organise taxi’s on the Friday and Saturday for those not staying at the venue to go to and from Ericeira. There are also Ubers available in Ericeira.
As it’s likely many guests will have cars, we’re sure they’ll be room for lifts to and from the airport/Ericieria for those without, we can help to coordinate this.
